Objective
A1-1 - Local governments create conditions (spatial, material and other) for education without physical and administrative barriers for all age categories of their residents.A1-2 - The education system is adapted to new technologies and digitization, appropriate education is available to every resident.A1-3 - Universities, as centers of education, creativity and innovation in their region, prioritize education and research appropriate to the digital age.A1-4 - In cities and towns, conditions are created for sports and activities to support the health and safety of all population groups (based on age, gender, economic demands, etc.).
 
Measure
  1. Support for the cooperation of universities with municipalities, cities and regions (primarily those in which they are located) in the field of research, development and innovation; involving students in solving the problems of cities in accordance with the fulfillment of their study obligations resulting from the study program, membership of city representatives in the administrative boards of universities.
  2. Support for the creation and development of specialized study programs and/or subjects at universities focused on SMART solutions to problems and challenges (e.g. use of digital tools in healthcare, Energy 4.0, service systems).
  3. Support for the establishment of a welcome office/expat center in cooperation with universities and cities to make the conditions for the arrival of foreign scientists to the country more attractive, incl. ensuring optimal conditions that will motivate them to stay longer (i.e. also related support services for entire families).
  4. Motivating women and girls to study STEM fields.
  5. Creation of conditions for the availability of higher education in each region of the country.
