Objective
B4-1 - Sufficiently dimensioned ICT infrastructure is available throughout the territory of the country.B4-2 - Cities, municipalities and regions have the necessary infrastructure and ICT equipment for their activities.B4-3 - The ICT infrastructure enables the safe development of digital services at the level of cities, municipalities and regions.
 
Measure
  1. Connecting municipalities and remote local parts of municipalities to high-speed Internet through high-capacity fiber optic cables.
  2. Support of modern reliable and secure electronic communications networks in fixed and mobile locations throughout the country.
  3. Support for the development of networks with very high capacity (VHCN) in the municipalities of the country.
  4. Pilot testing of technologies and complex solutions linked to modern electronic communications networks.
  5. Support for building backbone and especially connection networks (so-called backhaul).
  6. Support for building backbone regional and local data networks for the needs of digitization of state and local government services.
  7. Preparation of a map of the backbone network for data transmission and informative support for its completion and use of existing infrastructures by the state.
  8. Support for the creation of digital technical maps including information on the location of physical infrastructure.
  9. Building regional data centers for storing, sharing and processing data of regions/cities/municipalities.
  10. The development of the professional potential of people for the management of ICT infrastructure, including the motivation of women to professional orientation in ICT fields (see the European strategy for data 2020).
