Chapter
C1 - Environment for quality life in municipalities, cities and regionsC2 - Nature and landscape supporting resilienceC3 - Green and blue infrastructure of cities and municipalities of the futureC4 - Transport infrastructure and mobility adapted to people
Objective
C1-1 - The air in cities and towns is not polluted by harmful substances from identifiable sources.C1-2 - Water sources in a specific area are protected from pollution, the restoration and development of water supply and sewerage infrastructure is supported with the aim of optimizing the distribution of drinking water and the removal and treatment of waste water.C1-3 - A high degree of soil and biodiversity protection is achieved in a specific area.

Measure
  1. Creation of local digital plans for the development of water supply and sewage systems in cities, municipalities and regions as a basis for PRVKúK based on emerging digital technical maps of regions and with regard to adaptation to climate change and the need for a new way of managing water and its local use.
  2. Development of water supply systems and provision of potable water supplies from large sources and from local sources according to availability and efficiency.
  3. Implementation of a program of innovative wastewater treatment procedures in both centralized and decentralized ways that enable efficient reuse of wastewater.
  4. Ensuring the supply of drinking water from local sources within the framework of inter-municipal cooperation and in the case of insufficient capacity or quality sources to ensure the reliability of drinking water supplies by connecting local water mains to the nearest group water mains and ensuring the interconnection of water supply systems.
  5. Support for the reduction of potable water losses from water mains by more intensively connecting remotely monitored objects (smart metering) to existing water control stations and other tools.
  6. Program of innovative procedures in local decentralized wastewater treatment for small localities with scattered buildings, innovative procedures in the municipal wastewater treatment plant, etc.
