Objective
ZPO4-1 - Cities, municipalities and regions are (digitally) open to their neighbors and the outside world in achieving their own development goals.ZPO4-2 - International cooperation between regions and municipalities strengthens good relations, increases the resilience of the country and its international importance.ZPO4-3 - SMART Cities/Villages/Regions – the good name of cities, towns and regions in the world
 
Measure
  1. Sharing good practice of SMART solutions with municipalities in less developed countries.
  2. Use of integrated and participatory methods, sharing of know-how and proven solutions using the tool based on the European Territorial Cooperation program URBACT and other transnational community programs including cross-border cooperation programs (e.g. Interreg programs).
  3. Support for cooperation between universities and municipalities from several EU countries on SMART solution projects (e.g. within Horizon Europe), bilateral cooperation programs in applied research with the participation of municipalities and/or MAS, use of Rural Development Program projects for the implementation of SMART solutions.
  4. Analysis of indicators of innovation performance of regions (within the EU) and adoption of proven solutions to increase innovation performance (between organizations associating municipalities and between municipalities of similar parameters).
